Gov. Palin selects new spokesman
By Pat Forgey
Juneau Empire
The turnover continues in Gov. Sarah Palin's public relations staff, with her top spokesman, Bill McAllister, forced out after less than a year in the position.
Replacing McAllister is David Murrow, an author of Christian books who lives in Chugiak.
McAllister moves to a newly created position as communications director of the Department of Law.
Murrow said he was too busy to talk to the Empire on Friday, but earlier told the Alaska Budget Report Newsletter he began the job June 10 and is paid $103,716 annually.

Now we're learning more about Palin's religious convictions and how she became the appointed one. The religious aspects of Palin that are surfacing are interesting, also. David Murrow's website adoration for Sarah Palin makes him a likely candidate for a job in enabling the Governor. Good luck and welcome aboard Mr. Murrow.
"McAllister moves to a newly created position as communications director of the Department of Law."
Then hires a Christian crony with no press credentials to fill a six figure job being her mouth piece. Can't we just fast forward to 2010 so we can kick this lying fraud to the curb?
"Murrow said he was too busy to talk to the Empire on Friday. . . " Doesn't that just say it all? A press secretary who is too busy to talk with the press. I see that the Palin Administration is consistent and on-course.
I'm sure he was attending a meeting to develop new ways to smear Republican faithful that ask the obvious questions, who are now referred to by the Palin Administration as people who engage in, "asinine political grandstanding."
It's a good thing he writes political books - as he gets to know his new boss and realize how venal she is he is going to be saying 'J----S C----T!" a lot!.
...not political books.
[as far as i know we haven't become a theocracy yet, so religion and politics haven't merged.]
Sorry, I meant to say, religious books. But I guess that makes it even funnier; he'll need a lot of religion to deal with this Gov.
The Palin people should be looking for new jobs now....................... What a day.............
